This page explains how HIPAA applies to your use of fitfordutyrx.com and where the responsibility for your health data actually sits.

Fit For Duty Rx is not a covered entity

Fit For Duty Rx, LLC operates as a Management Services Organization (MSO) and health and wellness marketing company. We are not a medical practice, pharmacy, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse, and we are not a HIPAA-covered entity. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or provide medical care.

Because of this, we do not collect, receive, store, or access protected health information through this website. We do not see your medical history, your prescriptions, your lab or test results, your diagnoses, or your payment information.

Where your health data is handled

When you choose a care plan or wellness program and click through from this website, you leave fitfordutyrx.com and enter the platform of one of our clinical partners, including Leg Up Recovery, its affiliated physician group Beluga Health, P.A., and National Telehealth Providers (collectively, the "Clinical Partners").

The Clinical Partners are HIPAA-compliant entities. All medical intake, health records, prescriptions, clinical communications, membership enrollment, and payment occur exclusively on their secure systems and are governed by their privacy practices and Notices of Privacy Practices, not ours. HIPAA compliance and LegitScript certification belong to the Clinical Partners and their associated entities, not to Fit For Duty Rx, LLC.

Strict data separation

There is a strict separation between Fit For Duty Rx, LLC (marketing and referral) and the clinical practices (medical care, payment, and prescriptions). The contact and inquiry information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email, and phone number, is handled under our Privacy Policy. Your health information is handled only by the Clinical Partners under their HIPAA-compliant practices.

Your patient rights

Because your medical records and PHI are held by the Clinical Partners, requests to access, amend, or learn how your health information is used and disclosed should be directed to them through your patient portal: the Care Portal at portal.nationaltelehealthproviders.com for care services, or the Wellness Portal at patient.leguprecovery.com/login for wellness and prescription programs.
